It was a day filled with sad tears and yet happy tears. Sad in that she is no longer with us and yet so happy she is no longer in pain or suffering on this earth. The following verse from a card I had given her at one time describes just a small part of the love for my mother! I will always love you Mom and miss you so much!MOTHER
You Mean So Much
It's hard to describe
how much it means
having a mother like you...
the joy that comes from being loved,
the confidence that comes
from being believed in,
the sense of security
that comes from knowing
there's always someone to depend on...
It's hard to describe
how much you mean,
because you mean so much.

nice pic and post. That poem is beautiful. Are those the roses from the flowers from the extended family? Nice.
Take care sweetie. How is your rose doing from the graveside spray? Are you going to dry it?
That's a really touching poem. I'm glad you shared it.
Heart-wrenching still as I read this. You know, Mom liked red roses, but it is really the pink ones that remind me most of her. Her soft, gentle smell and rosey cheeks! Nice reminders today! Thanks!
